MEAD Student Planner Review & Photos

Hey everybody! I went to the store the other day and spotted this cute little planner. I’ve been looking for a planner for college and I couldn’t find one I liked, but this one was definitely the one!

I love how it has weekly pages and monthly pages! Great for homework (weekly) and appointments (monthly)! I also like how it has extra pages that include: schedule, contacts, and a yearly overview.

Overall, I think it’s a great planner if you’re needing something for school!

Wet N Wild Don’t Steal My Thunder Review, Swatch, & Photos

              Rating: 9/10

              Sold: Drugstores

              Price: $2.99

              Description: A shimmery white, a shimmery black, & a blue-ish toned silver

              Review:

              Pros

              • Colors are just gorgeous!
              • So, so pigmented!
              • The shimmery white is a great inner corner highlight
              • The black looks shimmery in the packaging but actually comes off mostly matte
              • Silver is very metallic
              • Makes a great smoky eye kit
              • Packaging is tiny and great for travel
              • If you’re new to makeup, all shadows are marked with where they should be placed (although they don’t have to be used this way)

              Cons

              • I wish the silver didn’t have a slight blue tone to it – it makes my green eyes and pale skin look a little funny. Not sure if anybody else has this problem?
              • Packaging can seem a little cheap, but for $2.99, you can’t complain with the quality of the eyeshadows!

              Review:

              Pros

              • Great everyday mascara!
              • Does not clump at all!
              • Thickens and lengthens the lashes!
              • Doesn’t make the lashes look too dramatic

              • Easy to find

              • No flaking!
              • Formula isn’t too wet or too dry

              Cons

              • Not the best mascara if you looking for a dramatic look – but that’s not what it claims :)

              Price: $19.00

Description: “Sexy, sultry, pure unadulterated black mascara for full, voluminous lashes”

              Review:

              Pros

              • Did make my lashes noticeably fuller
              • It did both volumize and lengthen the lashes
              • Cute packaging and name
              • Comes in other colors

              Cons

              • Not sure if it was just the tube I got, but the formula was SO dry!
              • Started to flake off right as I applied it
              • Quite expensive! Especially for the results I had! (Thank goodness, mine was a travel/sample size)

I was so disappointed with this mascara! I thought this was going to be an amazing mascara – with an amazing brush and formula. Maybe I just got a bad tube. Has anybody else tried this to say whether they enjoyed it or not?

              Review:

              Pros

              • Love how well the candles burn
              • Amazing scent throw
              • I actually didn’t like the cold throw of the scent – I thought it smelled really sweet and nothing like coconut cake
              • After burning it, I like the scent a ton more!
              • Smell of cake seems to be more dominant, with only slight creamy coconut

              Cons

              • This may not be a bad thing to all, but I almost wish the candle had more of an icing smell to it and sweetness (that’s just how I see coconut cake)

*Note to everybody – even if you don’t like the cold throw of a candle, still burn it because you may end up loving it! :)

This is such an amazing company to order from and I completely recommend all their candles to everybody! They burn better than any candle I’ve ever had and they always smell amazing. If you ever have any questions, I would definitely say to visit her Twitter page or Facebook page.

Burt's Bee Radiance Day Creme Review & Photos

              Rating: 6/10
              Sold: Drugstores
              Price: $18.00
Description: Quick-absorbing formula that is light to the touch, but heavy in nutrients; helps to minimize the appearance of fine lines and renew your skin
              Review:
              Pros
              • Very moisturizing – this would be great for dry skin
              • Includes some wonderful ingredients
              • Really does add some radiance to the skin

              Cons
              • Not the best moisturizer for oily skin – made my skin very sticky and slightly greasy
              • Pretty expensive for a “drugstore” product
              • Comes in a jar – not too sanitary
